Outdoor Education Offer

Whether you are a school, youth group or club, we can design a package that best suits your needs. This could be a residential stay with adventure activities, a school trip with a curriculum enrichment day or a team-building activity.

Oxenwood Centre

Oxenwood Outdoor Education Centre is located in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with excellent links to local geography, wildlife and landmarks including Kennet and Avon Canal, Fosbury Iron Age Hillfort and Wilton Windmill.

The Centre is fully equipped for day and residential groups with a catering kitchen, toilet and shower facilities (including disabled access), washing and drying facilities, a main hall, staff room and playing field. We also have a fully equipped classroom, with video and audio equipment.

Oxenwood has a 38 bed capacity in four dormitory rooms for residential visits. The Centre also has an additional six bed capacity for group leaders in two rooms. During your stay, your group will have exclusive evening access to the Centre and facilities.

Groups can select from fully catered, part catered and self-catered options. Nutritious, home-cooked food is prepared on the premises by our fantastic chef Les. For more information about the range of food on offer at Oxenwood including specialist diets and a sample menu, please visit Les’s Kitchen.
